The following Terms of Service outlines our policies and procedures.

When you begin using the Doodie Soldiers dog poop scooping services, you are agreeing to the following policies.

1.) PAYMENTS: You will be required to submit and maintain a credit card on file for automatic processing. Credit card information is kept on a PCI compliant secure server. Payment is processed once per month on the 1st of each month (unless you specify a different day). You can view your invoices by logging into your account via the “client portal” tab at the top of this page.

a.) If your card is declined, our system will notify you by email. We will automatically try to charge the card again in 24 hours. If it is declined a 2nd time, another email will be sent and we will attempt to charge the card again in 3 days. You will receive an email each time the card is declined with a link to our client portal so you can login and update card. If the card isn’t updated before the next scheduled service day your services will be suspended until a new card has been put on file.

2.) SKIPPED SERVICE: If we are not able to perform service due to locked gates, blocked gates or dogs that are not under control, you will still be charged your regular rate for service. We will postpone service until the following week when we will plan to scoop double waste. If you need to skip your service temporarily, you must contact us at least 24 hours in advance. You can notify us by email, call/text, or pause service from within your account.

3.) HOLIDAYS: If your service day falls on a holiday that weeks service will be postponed until the normal service day the following week. We do credit clients accounts if someone at the house scoops the yard those weeks. But generally the waste is allowed to build up and we simply do double doodie duty the following week. Double waste takes twice as much time…which is why we still charge for the missed week. We observe the following holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

4.) VACATIONS: Our employees work very hard to keep your yard dog poop free and they deserve a little vacation time. When this happens, we will notify you and we may temporarily adjust your service days due to being short staffed. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact us.

5.) GATES & LATCHES: Although we try our hardest to prevent dogs from escaping we will not be responsible for escaped dogs due to defective gates and /or latches. Please provide a lock or clip to insure the gate latch is secure at all times. We will try to notify you if your gate needs repair.

6.) CANCELLING SERVICE: We understand circumstances change over time. If you need to cancel your service, just give us a call/text or email.

7.) SCHEDULING: We reserve the right to temporarily change service days as needed. Things like weather, sickness, vacations, vehicle issues, holidays, and kiddos, do cause the schedule to fluctuate from time to time. We do our absolute best to be as consistent as possible. However we are still a small family operated business with limited resources.

8.) WEATHER: We aren’t able to work in heavy rain, snow, ice, or extreme temperatures. Our employees aren’t expected to work in dangerous conditions such as the wind chill dropping below 0 degrees or the heat index rising above 110 degrees. This VERY rarely comes into play in our area of the country.

9.) SNOW: There are a few occasions every winter where we get get too much snow for the dog waste to be visible. If we aren’t able to scoop the yard on your regular service day due to accumulated snow we will attempt to scoop it the following day. If on the following day there is still too much snow to see the waste we will have to suspend services until the following week. Unfortunately with the short winter days there aren’t enough hours of daylight for us to wait more than 1 day for the snow to melt.

a.) If the snow still hasn’t melted by the following weeks regularly scheduled day we will go ahead and walk the yard scooping the accumulated waste from on top of the snow, any bare areas in the yard, under trees, on decks, on patios, etc. We will do the absolute best we can to get all visible waste. Any waste hidden under the snow will be scooped the following week on the regularly scheduled day in your area.

b.) We do not credit accounts for missed cleanings due to snow. Eventually we still end up scooping all of the waste. We just scoop double waste once the snow melts…which takes twice as much time and work. Also please keep in mind there are 52 weeks in a year. We only charge for 48 of them (12 x 4). There are 4 months each year that include a 5th cleaning. We never upcharge for those extra cleanings even though team members are being paid for the cleanings. So it all kind of evens out in the end. Please be understanding as we have absolutely no control over the weather.

10. SATISFACTION GUARANTEE: If you happen to be dissatisfied with service for any reason please let us know immediately. We will come back within 24 hours (usually the same day) to correct the issue. Revisit requests must be made within the first 24 hours after completion of the last service. All work is final after the first 24 hour time period elapses. At that point no revisits will be provided free of charge. We’ll always do our best to work with you to resolve any issue to your satisfaction.
